The Sacred Heart Read With Me Ministry

We encourage our parishioners to join our Read With Me Program which provides volunteers to tutor in English to help children who come from homes where no English is spoken. 

We ask volunteers to commit to going to a school a minimum of 8 times. 

We need volunteers for 15 different schools in the Coachella Valley. We try to place volunteers in a school most convenient for them.  

Bus service goes to Mecca School and leaves from Sacred Heart Church every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning November 1 until April 15, 2024.
